Allergen Hub is a software tool designed to assist food businesses with reviewing ingredient labels, identifying allergen-related information, and maintaining product records.
2. No replacement for legal or operational responsibility
The app does not replace regulatory obligations, supplier documentation, staff training, food safety procedures, or legal responsibilities relating to allergen management and food information.
You remain responsible for checking and confirming the suitability, accuracy, and completeness of any ingredient or allergen information before using it in your business.
3. OCR and automated assistance
The app may use OCR and automated analysis to assist with extracting or highlighting ingredient and allergen information. OCR and automated processing can contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations.
You must review and verify all extracted and derived information against the original product packaging and relevant supplier information.
4. Verification workflow
Any verification, review, or approval features in the app are provided to support your internal workflow. They do not create a guarantee by us that information is accurate, complete, or compliant with applicable law.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the app:
- for unlawful purposes
- in a way that misrepresents product or allergen information
- as a substitute for required business checks and controls
6. Availability and changes
We may update, improve, modify, or discontinue parts of the app at any time.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Allergen Hub is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of accuracy, completeness, uninterrupted availability, or fitness for a particular regulatory purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or business losses arising out of or related to the use of the app.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Allergen Hub and its associated branding, software, and content are owned by the app publisher unless otherwise stated.
9. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
